Note: All rooms are on the third floor with no lift access.

Local Food & Drink

The Lamb Inn serves seasonal dishes with locally sourced ingredients. The bar stocks Harvey's award-winning beers, lagers, ciders, spirits, and soft drinks. The wine list highlights small, independent producers. Guests can join quiz nights, comedy evenings, and live music events.

“The Lamb Inn strikes me as a particularly charming choice in Eastbourne, given its rich history dating back centuries. Its blend of historic charm, family-friendly accommodations, and modern amenities like air-conditioned rooms offers a balanced experience. The inclusion of a full breakfast and proximity to local attractions solidifies its appeal for those looking to explore the area.”

Historic Charm and Friendly Faces

historic charmcozy roomcute staffchallenging stairs
The history and charm of the building are unmatched. I got a tour of the medieval crypt below the inn, part of a monastery from 1180, next to the church! Fires burn warmly in the fireplaces.
The stairs to the room were a little challenging. The facilities seem a bit tired and could benefit from an upgrade to warrant the room cost.
Location
9/10
The hotel is close to a bus stop, offering easy access to nearby attractions. A grocery store is conveniently located next door. This offers easy access to anything you might need. The position is very convenient.
Dining
